Hello,
quote from Sam:
> Danny can certainly say more about the homepage and further steps.
I certainly can! I've had a lot of time to think about the current
situation and get unneccessary emotions out of my system.
It has become clear to me that the Cinelerra-CV community has been stuck
in their old ways for such a long time that they are unlikely to accept
change for the better.
All CV has left are rules and regulations, while no code is being
produced.
We've had 13 commits in the CV repository this year. The project is
dead.
Because of this, I have restored the old Cinelerra-CV website now.
I will not work on the old website anymore. If certain members of the CV
community like their old ways so much, they can keep it and extend it
themselves.
The new website is now available here:
https://cinelerra.io
Over the course of the next weeks (hopefully this weekend) it will be
rewritten to be a platform for Cinelerra-GG.
Good Guy is the only developer that accepts everything the community is
doing with open arms.
Be it translations, graphics, themes, feature requests...
I cannot imagine the crunchtime phases he's going through to implement
features the users want.
That's what a stagnating community that has almost fallen into
irrelevance needs, and I very much support that.
Anybody who wants to help me out, is welcome to do so.
Just like Sam has said: "I would like to spend my time with things that
I enjoy."
-Danny
